[Reading Roundup] January & February 2019

Jan Feb 2019 reading roundup

It was a strong January for me, but a slow February. I’ve got a few fantastic books lined up so here’s to a book filled March!

Unearthed – Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner

Unearthed Cover

(Book Depository / Amazon US / Amazon Canada /  Amazon UK)

Basically Indiana Jones in space. Good fun and easy to read in one go. And what a cliffhanger to end with!

Star Trek Prometheus: The Root of all Rage – Bernd Perplies & Christian Humberg

Star Trek Prometheus book 2 cover

(Amazon US / Amazon Canada /  Amazon UK)

Book two in the Prometheus trilogy. Not as good as the first book; lots of filler chapters, but easy and quick to read. I’ll get to book three soon!

Star Trek Discovery: Fear Itself – James Swallow

Fear Itself James Swallow Cover

(Book Depository / Amazon US / Amazon Canada /  Amazon UK)

My first Discovery novel and my first James Swallow novel. He wrote Saru wonderfully and gave us insight into a character we’re still itching to know more about. Definitely will be reading more!

A Timeless Christmas – Alexis Stanton

A Timeless Christmas Cover

(Book Depository / Amazon US / Amazon Canada /  Amazon UK)

I was in the mood for a fluffy book so I took this one out from the library because time travel is my thing. It ended up being not for me.. A bit on the dull side despite the whole time travel plot line.

What are your favourite books you’ve read in January and February?
