Reading Roundup October 2017

October 2017 Reading Roundup

I’ve come to terms with the fact that I won’t meet my 2017 reading goal. But it’s okay; even if I don’t read the number of books I wanted to read, I still read some amazing books this year. And there’s still a couple months left!

4.5/5 – Invictus – Ryan Graudin
The best way to my heart is through time travel. It’s no secret that time travel is my absolute favourite trope, and that I will forever seek out new stories involving jumps through time. Read my review!

4/5 – Seconds – Bryan Lee O’Malley
A graphic novel is a great way to read something quickly during a book slump and feel accomplished when you turn that last page.  Seconds follows Katie, a young talented chef, who gets several chances to erase past mistakes in her life. It was so cute!
